06/07/10 - AutoLog WaterMan for surface and groundwater monitoring

AutoLog Waterman is a new system for surface and groundwater monitoring, comprising sensors, GSM-RTUs and SCADA running as an internet service. In the field the GSM-RTU powers the sensors and sends measurements to the server using the GSM network. The user views the system using a standard web browser, accessing alarms, trends, graphics and reports describing field conditions. AutoLog WaterMan can take level measurements, water quality measurements from landfill, roadworks, construction sites, waste treatment works or any areas where there is a potential contamination threat. AutoLog WaterMan can also be used in any other environmental monitoring application, e.g. gas and pollution measurements, weather stations, etc.

SaveLight gives substantial energy savings (up to 35%) by optimising burning times and dimming at off-peak traffic hours; it gives substantial maintenance cost savings by detecting burned-out lamps; it allows remote street lights control so lights can be easily controlled ON/OFF for special conditions; it gives web based, multi featured interface for managing street lights. SaveLight gives centralised and shared information about street lights. Burning hours, energy consumption, broken lights etc. can be turned into graphical reports. Lowered energy consumption also leads to lowered CO2 emissions.
