Condition based monitoring

Often, machine components exhibiting wear are replaced, even though their useful service life limits have not come close to being reached. Employing conditioning monitoring, a component’s service life can be fully exploited and, what is more, the time of replacement of the component can also be optimally planned. Such monitoring can be implemented at a very reasonable price with PBE.

An elevated vibration level is often a sign that a component is nearing the end of its useful service life. Changes such as this can be detected using intelligent and well thought through sensor and evaluation technology. The advantages associated with this do, however frequently go hand in hand with the high investment costs for sensors and the peripheral systems required for implementation of a condition monitoring system, making this technology simply too expensive for smaller machines. PBE offers reasonably priced solutions for this however, with their special measurement system. Data evaluation is conducted by means of local visualisation or remote monitoring via internet service.
